Best Buy

With Christmas shipping deadlines approaching or having already passed at many online retailers, it's time to consider other ways you can ensure that Christmas gifts end up under the tree on time. With just a few days left to get your shopping done, you're probably going to need to make a trip to the store to get everything on your list -- especially if you live outside of same-day shipping range.

Thankfully, a bunch of retailers offer in-store pickup options so that you can order ahead of time online and simply collect the item from your nearest store. Some even offer curbside pickup so you don't even need to brave the crowds in order to get your hands on some last-minute Christmas deals. We'll take you through your best options for in-store pickup below.

Best Buy

With locations across the country and a huge variety of products on sale, Best Buy is likely to be one of the best places to order for in-store pickup. As long as items are in stock at your chosen pickup destination, you could have them in-hand within an hour. Best Buy also has curbside pickup for those that want to simply pull up and have items placed in their vehicle.

Target

Similarly, Target offers both in-store pickup and drive-up options when ordering online which could help you out in a pinch. Items will often be ready to collect within a couple of hours from placing your order, depending on local stock.

Walmart

When placing an order at Walmart, you can opt for free in-store pickup and choose an available time slot for you to go and collect your spoils. You can filter searches at the site so that you only see items available for pickup, too.

Apple

If it's Apple gear you're after this holiday season, then shopping direct can be super convenient if you live near an Apple store. If an item is in stock at your nearest store, you can order it online and collect it within an hour usually. Select locations offer curbside pickup, too. (Select Apple Stores are even offering 2-hour delivery on some items.)

Kohl's

Kohl's offers buy online, pick up in store on thousands of items from clothing to tech, kitchen appliances and more, so you have plenty of choice when it comes to last-minute gifting. It's free to use and your order will be ready to collect within two hours (as long as you order at least two hours before closing time).

Macy's

Nab clothing, toys, electronics and more at Macy and benefit from free in-store pickup. Most in-stock items will be available to collect within two hours and most locations will offer curbside pickup as well.

Bed Bath & Beyond

If you're after household goods, Bed Bath & Beyond's in-store pickup option could come in clutch this holiday season. Items are usually ready to pick up within an hour and contactless curbside pickup is available up until 6 p.m. at many locations, too.

Home Depot

You don't have to search every aisle of Home Depot to find exactly what you need this Christmas. Simply search online and order it for in-store pickup. Home Depot will let you know when it's ready, usually within a few hours.

Lowe's

In much the same vein, you can find exactly what you need online at Lowe's and have it ready to collect in-store within a few hours (providing your local Lowe's has it in stock). Just choose free in-store pickup during checkout and you'll be notified within three hours that your item is ready to grab.

Office Depot

Office Depot offers one of the speediest in-store pickup options with in-stock items being ready to collect within 20 minutes of ordering. With a range of computers, tech accessories and everyday essentials (in addition to office supplies), this might prove surprisingly helpful this Christmas.

Ulta Beauty

Bag some last-minute beauty bargains at Ulta and have them ready to collect in-store within two hours so long as you order by 6 p.m. local time and the items are in stock. Walk-in and drive-up options are available and both services are totally free.

REI

Need a gift for an outdoorsy type? REI's in-store pickup option could be the way to go if you've missed shipping deadlines already. You can walk in to grab your order or have it delivered to your car and most stores are open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Nordstrom

Nordstrom offers same-day and next-day pickup on tons of items and you can check whether pickup is available on a particular product's listing. Curbside pickup is also available if you'd prefer not to enter the store at all.

PetSmart

Forgotten to grab a gift for your furry friend? You can fix this at short notice with in-store pickup, available the same day if you get your order in a few hours before closing time. You can also select curbside pickup at checkout if that's your preferred way to go.
