Best Buy Lops $300 Off the 16-Inch Lenovo Yoga 7i's Usual Price Today Only

It's always nice to see a deal on a 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop, especially when it's a discount as steep as $300.

It's not often that you find a 16-inch laptop that isn't made for gaming, and yet the Lenovo Yoga 7i is both a 16-inch and a two-in-one convertible. While it doesn't have much in the way of gaming chops, its 14-inch counterpart made our list of best two-in-one laptops. While it usually goes for $800, Best Buy has discounted it to $500, an impressive $300 off an already reasonably priced laptop. That said, the deal ends tonight, so if you're looking to grab it, you should do it as soon as possible.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Yoga 7i runs the 13th-generation Intel i5-1335U, a midrange CPU perfect for most productivity and day-to-day use cases. It even has some capability to play indie and smaller games, although it will certainly struggle without a dedicated GPU. You do get 8GB of DDR5 memory, some of the best on the market, and while 16GB of RAM would be preferable, it's not a dealbreaker for most folks.

For the display, you get a massive 16-inch touchscreen, running a resolution of 1,920x1,200 pixels, which is a bit on the low side for a screen this large, but it does help bring the cost and weight down while extending the battery life a little. It also uses IPS technology, which gives slightly better color reproduction and larger view angles, which we like, and it can even hit 300 nits of peak brightness, so it can handle most environments except for direct sunlight.

The 512GB of internal storage is impressive and more than we usually see at this price, especially for two-in-one convertibles. Lenovo also includes Wi-Fi 6 in this configuration, which you might not benefit from now depending on your home Wi-Fi network, but it is good future-proofing. However, it doesn't have an Ethernet port so is a no-go if you need a wired connection. It also comes with a front-facing 1080p camera, which is perfect if you have a lot of online meetings.
