If you're already a committed fan of Google's mobile ecosystem, the company's Pixel line of phones have many advantages. The latest generation of Pixel phones, the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, both made our list of the best Android phones of 2024.
When the phones were released last fall, our reviewers liked their excellent screens, good overall cameras and long software support period. They also noted some new AI and camera features, as well as Google's new Tensor G3 processor, which powers both models. In addition, the smaller Pixel 8 got a higher 120Hz refresh rate display, up from 90Hz in the previous-gen model, and the Pixel 8 Pro gained a neat new temperature sensor.

Note that Google just announced its usual midyear model, the Pixel 8A, which takes most of the best features of the Pixel 8 and costs only $499. The company also just opened its Google I/O developer conference, where it announced a host of new AI features that will likely enhance the experience of Android phones like these -- and which tend to hit its Pixel phones first.
Top-of-the-line phones don't come cheap, but you can find quite a few deals in the form of direct discounts and trade-in offers. We've gathered up all of the best Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro deals available right now, and we'll continue to update this page as more offers pop up, so be sure to check back often.
The Pixel 8 comes in three colors: rose (pink), hazel (gray) and obsidian (black). The larger Pixel 8 Pro is available in bay (sky blue), porcelain and obsidian.
How much do the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro cost?
The Pixel 8 series sees an increase in retail price by $100 across the board compared to the previous-generation devices. Here's how US pricing breaks down in full:
- Pixel 8 (128GB): $699

- Pixel 8 Pro (128GB): $999
- Pixel 8 Pro (256GB): $1,059
- Pixel 8 Pro (512GB): $1,179

Best Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro deals
Google currently has no direct discounts on the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro. However, Google accepts trade-ins. Your discount will vary depending on your phone make, model and condition. Trade-in discounts on a newer iPhone model can be as much as $496, and trading in the Google Pixel 7 can get you up to $225 cash back.
If you switch to Google Fi, you can get up to $699 back, which nets you a 128GB Pixel 8 for free. Buying the 8 or 8 Pro will also get you three months of YouTube Premium, six months of Fitbit Premium and six months of Google One.
Best Buy has no direct discounts on Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro phones, but it has a trade-in program that can net you a savings of up to $325. Verizon customers on a qualifying plan will get enhanced trade-in credit that can save them up to $400 on the Pixel 8.
If you buy a Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro on an installment plan, AT&T is offering some big savings. Score the Google Pixel 8 Pro for $0 a month by trading in an eligible device, with a trade-in value of up to $1,040. You must also switch to an eligible unlimited data plan. The Pixel 8 will cost you $11 a month but you can get savings of up to $444 in the form of bill credits over 36 months, with no trade-in required.
If you add a new line at Verizon, you can save up to $800 on the Pixel 8 or up to $1,000 on the Pixel 8 Pro with an eligible trade-in, which makes each of those models free. Or you can save up to $800 with just a trade-in if you're an existing customer who qualifies for an upgrade. If you don't have a device to trade in, you can still save $800 on the Pixel 8 or $820 on the Pixel 8 Pro -- but you'll need to get a new line.
Verizon is also offering $220 off a Google Pixel Watch 2 with the purchase, but note that you'll need a new line of service to get the discount. You can also get a free 65-inch Fire TV Omni Series, but you'll need either an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan when buying the Pixel 8.
And as an added bonus, purchase a Google Pixel 8 or 8 Pro from Verizon and you'll get six free months of the Disney Bundle, which includes Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus.
If you're on a T-Mobile Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan, you can get up to $800 off either model with an eligible trade-in or a new line of service. If you're on a different qualifying service plan, you can still save up to $600 with a new line or up to $500 with a trade-in. This discount is applied as bill credits over 24 months.
Mint Mobile currently has an offer of $180 off the Pixel 8, bringing that price down to $609. The Pixel 8 Pro is discounted by $440, knocking that price down to just $649. Plus you can get six months of service for free with the purchase when you port your number over to (and sign up for) any of Mint Mobile's service plans.
Target isn't offering any direct discounts on Pixel 8 series phones right now, but Circle members can get 5% off their purchase.
