Inside Star Trek: Discovery's striking Klingon redesign

[MUSIC]. [INAUDIBLE] sarcophagus ship was inspired by a lot of. Ancient architectures and civilizations. We were looking to Islamic, Turkish, Sumerian, Byzantine, and medieval architecture. We wanted to ground the Klingons as an ancient civilization, older than human beings. Looking at that set, one of the most intricate detailed, many layered, otherworldly, set that I've ever seen on any show anywhere. [MUSIC] Kol.
