Move some mountains in the 2018 Mercedes-AMG S65
It's still packing a twin-turbocharged V12 with gobs of torque, so all is right with the world.
If you live your whole life chasing higher numbers, stop here. You've hit the roof.
The Mercedes-AMG S65 is the most powerful S-Class on offer, full stop.
Its 6.0-liter V12 is quite the behemoth.
Output is rated at 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque.
It is available only with rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic.
It's not as quick as the S63, but it's not about outright performance.
The S65 packs an air suspension that uses a camera to read the road ahead and adjust the suspension as conditions change.
It can also lean into curves to help mitigate g-forces on occupants.
It's the most Mercedes Mercedes there is, really.
The S65 should be on sale by the end of 2017, and pricing is still TBD.
