'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Hasbro toys peek at movie's look
Warning: Spoilers abound in these upcoming Star Wars toys released for Force Friday.
Hasbro's 'Last Jedi' toys
For the Disney/Lucasfilm marketing bonanza known as Force Friday, Hasbro is unveiling a line of all kinds of toys tied to the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," out in December. The products range from kid-friendly figures to role-play items for older kids at heart.
Poe Dameron electronic helmet
This Poe Dameron-themed helmet includes three internal speakers that play sound effects designed to make wearers feel like they're flying with BB-8.
'I can fly anything'
The helmet costs $80, which roughly converts to £60 or AU$100.
Porg!
Porgs, cute creatures making their debut in "The Last Jedi," are coming to stores as a waddling electronic toy.
Watch it go
When you squeeze it, the Porg will walk on its own. It will cost $40 (about £30, AU$50), and will be available starting Friday.
Black Series Force FX lightsaber
This Star Wars lightsaber themed after Rey glows a gorgeous blue, has a metal handle, and uses accelerometers to help it make sound effects as you move it around. This high-end lightsaber costs $180 (roughly £140 or AU$230).
Kylo Ren deluxe lightsaber
See yourself more on the dark side of the Force? This Kylo Ren lightsaber from the Bladebuilders line pulses red and can be combined with other pieces from the line. It costs $70, which roughly converts to £55 and AU$90.
Star Wars Bladebuilders Path of the Force Lightsaber
Can't decide if you want to be a Jedi or a Sith? With this set you don't have to. This lightsaber can light up in either color by swapping the handle. It costs $50, which roughly converts to £40 and AU$65.
Poe Dameron Nerf Glowstrike
This Nerf gun themed around Poe Dameron will let you shoot like the pilot. The gun costs $25, which roughly converts to £20 and AU$30.
First Order Stormtrooper Nerf Glowstrike
This First Order Stormtrooper-style Nerf gun has a semi-automatic firing style. It costs $70, which which roughly converts to £55 and AU$90.
Captain Phasma Nerf Glowstrike
A Captain Phasma-themed Nerf gun is coming for $45, which roughly converts to £35 and AU$55.
Rey (Jedi training)
This figure of a Jedi-training Rey is part of the more realistic Black Series line. It will cost $20, which roughly converts to £15 and AU$20.
Kylo Ren
This Kylo Ren figure, also in Hasbro's Black Series, will also cost $20, or roughly £15 and AU$20.
A talking Kylo
This interactive Kylo Ren talks not only when you squeeze it, but when you knock it over. The figure knows when it gets hit, gets turned upside down and when its mask is added. Each of these things will trigger a different voice recording from the figure. It will cost $30, which roughly converts to £25 or AU$30.
Luke and Rey on Landspeeders
These figures of Luke Skywalker and Rey on their Landspeeder vehicles were previously seen at San Diego Comic-Con, and are now going to be widely available for $60, which is roughly £45 and AU$75.
Maz Kanata
Maz Kanata is also joining the Black Series with this figure, which will be available later this fall for $20 (roughly £15, AU$20).
Star War Galactic Heroes BB-8 Adventure Base
This BB-8 opens up into a full playset that includes a Rey figurine packing big weapons. The playset costs $80, which roughly converts to £60 or AU$100.
