The actor known best as Wicket the Ewok in "Star Wars" receives a very important phone call about returning to a galaxy far, far away. Yub nub!

"Star Wars" wouldn't be the same without actor Warwick Davis returning in the movies that made him a young star. Davis, who played Wicket the Ewok in "Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi," as well as Weazel and Wald in "Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace," presents fans with a humorous video concerning his possible appearance in "Star Wars: Episode VII."

"Like many of you fans out there, I was hugely excited to hear news that 'Star Wars: Episode VII' will begin shooting next year," Davis said.

Warwick shows footage of a discussion he had at Star Wars Celebration Europe with Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, about whether his name has popped up during discussions of casting. "Daily," she says.

Finally, after seemingly waiting forever for Lucasfilm to call Davis with an update (hence his fake beard), on October 16 the phone rings and it's supposedly director J.J. Abrams asking him if he'd like to be in "Star Wars: Episode VII." Davis enthusiastically agrees.

Davis joins his fellow original trilogy actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, as well as Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow in the new film, which opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

But now the guessing game begins. Who will Davis play? A much older and wiser Wicket the Ewok? Weazel and Wald? Or someone totally new?
