When most people think of thin-and-light laptops, they might immediately go to something like the MacBook Air or the Dell XPS 13, but there are quite a few great models that fit the bill. For example, the Asus VivoBook S15 is thin, light, affordable and even has some oomph behind it. Even better, Woot has a great sale on a few different VivoBook S15 configurations, so you can find something as cheap as $460.

The most affordable configuration you can get for the VivoBook S15 at Woot is this one, which going for $460 instead of $730. It comes with a reasonably powerful midrange 11th-gen Intel i5-1135G7 CPU, giving you more than enough power to complete day-to-day and productivity tasks. The 8GB of DDR4 RAM is a bit on the low end but not a dealbreaker, while the 512GB of storage is impressive for this price. It also has Wi-Fi 6, so it's future-proofed in terms of connectivity.

On the other hand, if you can spare the extra $140, the configuration going for just $600 instead of $999 is probably the best bang for your buck. While it comes with a slightly more powerful 12th-gen Intel i5-12500H processor, what's more impressive is the OLED display, which is perfect if you like to watch TV shows and films. It also comes with Windows 11 instead of Windows 10, so you've got the latest software out of the box.

Finally, the highest-end configuration you can get is going for $650 instead of $930. It doesn't have an OLED display but comes with the powerful Intel i7-1165G7, a CPU that can likely handle most editing and productivity tasks without an issue. It also comes with 16GB of RAM, which is much better for quality of life, while storage remains the same at 512GB. It also has its own AI noise cancellation, which is really only going to be helpful if you tend to have a lot of meetings and don't have an independent microphone you plug in.
