Short Take: Accounting software for CFOs

Callidus Software, formerly TallyUp Software, in San Jose, California, started business today with its new name and the launch of its core product, TallyUp Variable Compensation Management system. The software is for chief financial officers to measure, predict, and manage variable costs such as sales force compensation. The first two customers of Callidus are database vendor Sybase and Cadence Design Systems.
