Mortal Kombat 11 is all about action movie nostalgia, having already added John Rambo, RoboCop and Terminator as guest fighters. It brought that to a new level on Tuesday, by adding the cast of the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie and revealing them in a trailer.

The $5.99 Klassic MK Movie Skin Pack downloadable content (DLC) brings back actors Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, Christopher Lambert and Linden Ashby as the voices and likenesses of Sonya Blade, Raiden and Johnny Cage. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who played Shang Tsung in the movie, was previously added to the game as the first DLC character.

Last week, people who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the gory fighting game got the ability to upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions for free. The next-gen versions added 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times and other features, so the game's ludicrous violence will be clearer and run more smoothly.
