Fyre Festival turned into 32-page parody script by TV writer
Social media has loved to hate on #FyreFestival, and this may be the most elaborate joke at the festival's expense yet.
The Fyre Festival fiasco was the talk of social media last week, with Tweeters the world over uniting to mock everyone involved.
Jordan VanDina, a writer behind Adult Swim's "SuperMansion" and Viceland's upcoming "What Would Diplo Do," has provided perhaps the most extravagant roasting of the Fyre Festival concept, penning a 32-page script for a short called "Lord of the Fyre."
It follows Leo DiCaprio, who learns of the festival and calls his posse, consisting of magician David Blaine, Tobey Maguire and "E from Entourage" (Kevin Connolly), to get together for one last party.

Fyre Festival was a luxury music festival put together by rapper Ja Rule and entrepreneur Billy McFarland. But when Instagram influencers, music acts and the rich and famous descended on The Bahamas to attend the festival, they found disaster-relief tents, deconstructed cheese sandwiches and a cancelled festival.
