  -Free, easy to use Softether client, installs in minutes. -The 2 week logging policy. -Lots of good VPN sites to select from in Asia all the time.

  Cons

  -You do have to learn through trial and error which vpn sites are going to offer a reasonable speed service for the price... which is free. -Few to no VPN sites in Africa each week. The 2 week logging policy.

  Summary

  Its free, it works. Best to have a bit of a security mind though if you are going to use clients other than the one provided by Softether. Make sure you firewall is on and your virus scanner is at max.

  It's free but only works about 5% of the time. Takes forever to try to find a relay that actually works. Out of 100 or so relays they offer maybe one or two will eventually work ( but you have to spend a lot of time searching for them)

  I dont think there are any. It's OK as a "stop-gap" but that's about it.

  Summary

  I have never come across a more useless, worthless piece of software in my life. When you are eventually able to get it running, you are dependant on whoever you connect with to stay online. When they go offline - That's it - you lose your VPN connection. Ok "It's Free", I hear you say. It doesn't cost you money but it costs you an awful lot of time trying to connect, if you can connect at all !! I'm in China so I need a reliable VPN. This sure as hell ain't it.

  I agree with dobberhockey, except I did not even get the connect screen - yes...the files did download (installed and run). Also; malware protection was added without my permission. This popped up on my screen a few times. It added itself as a new app - this was separate from the other files, and hard to find and delete until the new app was found. I suspect this download is an excuse to load malware protection and whatever costs, or adds that may come with it. It also tries to take over your search engine default. Everything was deleted.

  Summary

  Do not download. It seems the two good reviews are not honest reviews. Why nobody mentioned the malware protection add on, and the attempt to highjack the search engine is questionable.

  It gives information on speed connection so you can easily choose which one you want. No sign-up require. No data limit.

  Cons

  Could be slow, but it does do the VPN job.

  Pros

  None. Couldn't figure it out. And I run websites for a living so I'm not inexperienced when it comes to software. Though VPNs are admittedly new for me.

  Cons

  Downloaded and installed. Now what? No instructions. I click 'connect' and it said I needed to set up a VPN Client name. I gave it a name. Now what? Googling it found nothing. Really I just gave this 10 minutes then uninstalled. Instructions on notepad will do.

  It was really easy to get up and running. Just download and hit connect. Choose the connection (country) you want and it connects. To go back to your isp just hit disconnect.

  Cons

  When your use to 30mbs its hard to get used to a 1 - 2mbs connection.

  Summary

  Even though its a bit slow it can be really useful. Some sites its best to use a VPN to be safe even if its slower than your used to. I'd recommend this to everyone, especially new users cause of its easy set up. Its also 100% FREE!
